Bessemer Farmers Market
A Certified Farmers Market
ABOUT OUR MARKET
The Bessemer Farmers Market is opening soon, on Saturday, April 17. Our hours will be 8:00 AM until noon. In 2021 we will be located at the Bessemer Recreation Center located at 100 14th Street South, Hwy 150, Bessemer. We will be at the back near the concession stand.
We will have fresh produce, eggs, honey, sewn items, plants and more. We will have a food truck serving breakfast and lunch items. And Yoga, free, is offered beginning at 8:30.
Due to the ongoing pandemic we plan to open using the same precautions as in 2020. Wear a mask and stay six feet apart from each other.
Our vendors are all local and all of our products are grown or produced in the State of Alabama, meaning it has has not taken much time to make it from farm to market. And fresh food means that it tastes better and is better for you. And you are supporting the livelihood of our vendors by buying from our market.
Without our vendors there would be no market (just as without customers there would be no market). Following is a list of vendors that have agreed to be at or market this year. We think the diversity of vendors and products will make this year's market the best in our short history. Not all of these vendors will be present the first week, and not all will be present every week.
More vendors may be added at each market.
